Hi Aerozin,
1) That's hard to say. Montevina is around the corner, but Apple does not always update the MacBook right away. It can very well happen, but at the same time it might not. I will say though, Montevina is not a huge improvement, the current MacBooks will be fine without it. Nehalem in early 2009 is the one to watch! -
2) Maybe at lowest setting and resolution. IGPs (integrated graphics processors) are never recommended if you want to game.
-
how about the 15 inch macbk pro. that can play games cuz it has the 8600m gt.

stealthsniper96 What Was I Thinkin'?
How much money are you willing to spend? If you want to game I recommend a macbook pro. They can be picked up pretty cheap refurb from apple.

Here's a comparison picture of the MacBook Air vs. MacBook Pro. Of course, the ridiculous thinness of the MBA makes the MacBook Pro look really thick
, but its not! The MacBook Air and the MacBook have similar dimensions, so you can see the size difference here:
-
Once I could see them in person, I was convinced.

u have a screen comparing mb and mbp? -
Here's a post from MacRumors that has several comparison pictures:

You can see its not that much more, and the MBP looks much sleeker.

Wow, those are great pics, especially to compare screen brightness between the two. Thanks Sam!

Thanks sam , im going on a macbookpro
thanks all member for ur time -
Keep us updated on how it goes, Aerozin!
And yes talin29, it amazes me how bright the MacBook Pro can be. I mean, even my MacBook screen, I feel is really bright (I need to turn it down in most cases)! -
SaferSephiroth The calamity from within
If you can afford it the Pro is the way to go.
