    speck-like case?

    so i was just wondering if anyone knew of any hard cases for a macbook pro like the Speck case. i just dont like the speck case because its too expensive and it has those weird lines.

    it seems like those are a little expensive also, or am i just being cheap? and they dont come in colors.right?

    The price is worth it. I've had a few potentially serious "wacks" to my notebook in messenger bag ( it had no padding, and wasn't meant to carry a laptop) The polycarbonate case took the punch.. no damage..no warping to my MBP. *wipes brow*

    oh, and the case is fine too.. it's tough


    On another note, did you know you shouldn't get polycarbonate near these chemicals

    Sodium hydroxide
    Chloroform
    Dimethylformamide
    Concentrated Hydrochloric acid

    Concentrated Sulfuric acid
    Xylene

    I was wondering if there was a clear hard-shell case out there (like the one for the mac-book) available for a hp pavilion (dv9000) I have looked for 3 days & cannot find a thing...any help would be greatly appreciated!
