So on to Leopard we move. Firefox settings is all set to default now, no add ons or anything anymore (sigh). So my questions are:
1. It's either not there or I'm stupid/tired, but I can't find the option to allow me to tab browse (i.e. hitting tab will get me everywhere on a page: links, fields, etc. instead of having the limited movement set by default) in preferences. Where did it go?
2. I cloned my Tiger to my external. Is it possible to bring in the add-ons and profile settings for firefox from my external to Leoaprd? Do I just copy-paste folders? If so, from where, and to where?
3. Suggestions for a good firefox skin
4. As I previously posted on another thread, on SAFARI, when I type in hotmail.com i just see a blank page with the address bar switching between 4-5 different addresses (1 second intervals) on and on and on in a circle, for at least 30 seconds before I get an error. I NEED TO FIX THIS. HAAALP?
Thanks peeps![]()

re: 2.
i'm not an OS X user yet and i haven't used Firefox since 2006, but a quick google search netted this help document about managing profiles. briefly summarized, it says that you can simply redirect Firefox to use a profile from a different destination. since your old profile is on an external, it'd make more sense, in my opinion, to simply replace the new default profile with your old one via copy/paste.
if i remember correctly, moving the add-ons folder (which should be within the profile folder) to the default destination on your new main disk should also install all your old add-ons.
re: other issues
i lack the expertise to help with any of the other issues. the hotmail one might be your browser trying to redirect to the login page. try navigating to the hotmail login page through msn.com and then bookmarking the exact link provided once you get there. if that doesn't work, i'd try it on other browsers (Camino, Opera, Shiira) to see if the same problem exists, indicating an error on hotmail's end. -
But I LIKE to save my password
Thanks for your help
