    Go to System Preferences > Keyboard & Mouse > Trackpad and check "Clicking" :).

    word^, glad to see you got your new HDD up and running with no issues.

    make sure to also turn on Two Finger tapping and clicking, this will allow you to tap with two fingers to work as a right click, instead of having to control+click. and it will also let you put two fingers on the trackpad, and press the mouse button to work as a right click.
