You're excited for nothing. Lol! Apple won't suddenly announce something like this...or at least there was absolutely no indication they plan to...

Especially with the iPod event coming September 5th, I don't think Apple will announce something now.

Lol. I guess they could possibly announce a minor iPod Shuffle update...like maybe the iPod Shuffle was getting PRODUCT (RED) or something. But other than that I'd say its just routine maintenance and checkup before the big refresh on September 5th.

Actually, they have added several new computers without any announcement.

They typically only do that on Tuesdays though, so this is probably just maintenance.

I'm hoping for an early release of Leopard. It looks amazing from the videos on Apple's website. Time Machine rocks! All I need to do is save up for an external drive, and I'm set. Money's already pooled for Leopard.

I wish it was $99... Why can't Microsoft make their stuff this affordable?

Very good point :p. But really, at the profit levels that Microsoft gets, you really have to wonder why the full version of OS X is cheaper than the Student version of Office...

Macs aren't overpriced....They are pricey, but they are high end computers. Most undercut their primary PC competitors by a large margin.
