I can buy apple care any time within the first year ????

dang it need to change my order quick, pretty much bankrupted my self getting this laptop and the extra 230 back in my pocket will make next month much better ?

 

You can purchase anytime up to a year after the original date of purchase. Keep in mind that with the original warranty the toll-free support calls are only good for the first 90 days. With Applecare that is extended to the entire length of the warranty (3 years).

 

Yes you can order AppleCare any time within the first year.

But as duffyanneal said, the advantage is that if you buy AppleCare right away you have unlimited phone support. With the standard 1 year warranty that is bundled with all new Macs you only get 90 days of phone support.

 

cool, just changed my order to include a printer with the 100 off and will get the apple care later this year

In case you find yourself needing phone support/repair after the 90 days, just buy the AppleCare before calling and state you ordernumber on the phone - should work - did this with HP before
