    what to do if want blackbook but not 160GB

    So the apple store offers the blackbook with minimum 160gb. What do you do if you want a black macbook but only 100-120gb of HDD?

    Get the white macbook instead. Or find a refurbished blackbook to your specifications

    Exactly, I have my iPod and tons of CD's I copy onto my HDD so the extra space is always welcomed. I recently ordered my T60 with a 160 HDD. My next Mac will come with a 160 or 250 HDD espeically if I go the iMac route.

    Yes, i would be happier if i had 5000gb HDD. But I'd rather pay less and have a smaller HDD. Oh well ...

    you are paying the same price you would have before with the black macbook when it was available with smaller HDD's consider yourself lucky.

    How freakin' arrogant! Thank god you're just someone posting on a forum. If you were a mac rep, i would def. buy a t61 instead.
    I love apple products, but i hate the apple nation. Bunch of ignorant ****** who pat their own selves on the back.

    If I'm not mistaken, he was being sarcastic. Apple doesn't offer options, so you're pretty much SOL if you want options. Every hardware manufacturer does it to an extent, just Apple does it on the higher end. Take Dell for instance; you can get the Inspiron 1501 with small hard drives and little RAM, but if you want the media buttons and other features of the E1505, you automatically get bigger hard drives and more memory.

    lol, simma down...

    I've been using Macs since they ran at 20MHz. I know a thing or two about how they do things. And they are from innocent and perfect.

    I did not say I agreed with it, I'm actually rather harsh on the way Apple staggers their product lines and offerings. It's very frustrating at times.

    Well, it's been decided anyways .... (I think!).
    I can't wait around for the t61 to put the webcam in, and I'm not even sure if I can buy from the US lenovo website and bring it to Canada.
    I've found this 15% off deal through VISA, and if I don't find a nice refurbished blackbook in 2 days i'll just go ahead with that.
