Probably late summer, there isn't any new technology for them right now, otherwise I'd say sooner.

September, there may be a processor bump in June for WWDC.

    next generation?

    next revision?

next generation is probably a few years away. at least 3 years.

next revision is very soon, within months.

the next "revision" will have slightly faster components.

Yeah, the next revision will probably be released between August and September, with a redesigned MBP in about two to three years.

there may not be another mac series update,
apple is likely to discontinue all macbooks and go netbooks next summer in 2010.

There won't be a redesign (no reason to since they just did), probably a processor bump around September. June should be iPhone news, so I don't expect much Mac talk!

I'd expect more Snow Leopard information in June. Hopefully they'll announce a release date and a public beta, too.

until Intel launches the next mobile platform, there should not be a new model.

yup! and usb 3.0 should be released the same time.
I think the next generation will be in the next year (Jan or Feb) when there is corei7 platform and usb 3.0

I agree with this. June will be all about iphone and OS X as usual. Hopefully some small hardware bumps for MBP. But the i7 cpu macbook pros will be a way off yet, September at the earliest in my opinion.
