    what the pros of getting an apple laptop besides the nice looking interface?

    Some people prefer the design. Others like it's performance for graphics applications and things like video editing. It really depends on your needs as to whether or not it's a good fit though.

    Apple's OSX operating system is much faster and more stable than Windows, and the 12" models have the msot powerful graphics cards in ultraportables on the market (A 32MB MR 9550 in the 12" iBook, and a 64MB GFFX Go5200 in the 12" PowerBook). They're also better built than most equivalently priced Windows notebooks. And some poeple jsut prefer Apple.

    Powerbook G4.... sooo beautiful. I saw a 12" and a 15" one on campus today. The aluminum body is simply breathtaking.

    I think the Powerbooks are more handsome. They use faster hard drives for much better system performance.

    Powerbooks are nicely built just like asus laptops.
