Nvidia's stock drivers under Windows are better than Apple's drivers under bootcamp and OS X. You will get much better performance through Windows out of the 320M. They are still going to require that you run them at lower settings possibly (and likely) looking worse than their console counterparts but they can still be run.

apple really needs to make a real gaming laptop

Not really. Right now, developers are still favoring the Windows environment and a large portion of OS X games are Windows ports anyway. There is no motivation for developers to release non-App Store games especially whenever Windows hardware still outsells Apple's. Not only that but Apple would likely charge an arm, a leg, and ask for the soul of my first born Son if they were to come out with a true gaming laptop. The 17" MBP is already expensive enough, I would hate to see one with gaming hardware in it.

^ I also agree with above. Apple MBPs are known for their famed thinness, and for a MBP to sufficiently cool a high lvl gpu, it would require bigger fans, hence increasing the thickness. Also, their chassis just don't have proper vent placement, and it would drastically change the design to allow proper airflow. MBP17 2011 has a mid-range gpu, which is more than capable of playing the most current games in med-high settings. Putting a high end gpu in there would only make the price get into the unjustifiable range, even for hardcore mapple fans.

They already make one but you'd have to pay a premium for it. $2200 MBP anyone?

Here's a pretty complete gaming/graphics review I made of the Macbook you have:

Most of these games will generally run well on medium settings, though SC2 can be CPU-intensive when a lot of units are on screen. AC Brotherhood is a relatively demanding game (graphically speaking) so it will probably run at a low fps on medium.
will my macbook pro run this games?
