    so im on snow leopard, and i made a 60 gb bootcamp partition through the bootcamp assisstant, but when i insert the windows disc and restart, it gives an error message when i try to select the drive saying it only uses ntfs... and there is no other option for me to reformat or anything so now im confused as to how to install w7 on my mac...

    I dont recall where the option is... your just missing it. During the Windows setup there will be an option about reformatting the partition...
