I work in Word and have a Windows computer at work. I was thinking about getting a MBP and mostly staying in OS X. I can get Word 2008 for Mac. My concern was whether there would be full compatability with Word 2007 which I have at work. I saw some suggestions on the internet that there were some issues, including the "track changes" part of Word, a big deal to me. Anyone else hear anything about iffy compatability? Thanks.

I had even 2004 and 2007 word documents transferred to my MBP with no problems. There will be a conversion for the file so the version can read it. Word, Excel and power points were the same and was not altered in format at all.
    Hope that helps.

documents between different versions of MS Office from Windows to Windows can have problems.. don't expect any better from Mac to Windows or vice versa.
