This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Hi folks,

    Asus has just update their website with the Creative Audigy Advanced HD audio drivers for the pleasure of all of us. The info/log as always is minimum and I included here:

    update 2010/08/03
    Version V1.0
    Description
    File Size 98.45 (MBytes)

    As you can see probably is the same version included in the DVD drivers included in the A1 and A2 models and they just posted in their website. Users from BestBuy rejoice because you were hunting for this driver.

    BTW, I have a question for the experts of this website. This software "Sound Blaster Audigy Advanced HD" for asus is the same than the "Sound Blaster Audigy MB" and the "Sound Blaster X-Fi MB"???? Any way to do the upgrade? Because I tested the last one and in addition to a difference audio center, I can't see any big difference.

    (Still waiting for compatible VGA Ati drivers, hoping for 10.8 because it will be full compatible with SC2)

    I'm happy they've posted this software package on the support site, but it still causes some problems and a solid fix has yet to be found.

    Regarding your question: the ASUS package is just an ASUS-branded version of SoundBlaster Audigy MB.
