    hi guys,

a little question: after i obtained my g73 (with 2x 500 gb hdds...) i created the recovery dvds with the preinstalled ai recovery burner. then i proceeded to delete all the system including the recovery partition to then get a truly clean install of windows.

the problem is that i now would like to restore the recovery partition, but the recovery dvds cant be used because when i try to, i always get the error message that there are 2 hdds in my pc and these dvds can only be used on systems with one hdd, i shall remove all but one hdd and then try again.

is there any way around this? manually removing one of the hdds is no option for me.

Why not just temporarily remove the other HDD and install the recovery, then pop it back in?

Or just start from scratch- you have the Windows 7 key from the bottom of the laptop, and there is a legal 7 iso file link on this forum if you don't have a copy.

Then basically your only option is to do a fresh W7 install. See 3rd sig link for links to a Windows 7 iso if you need one. The driver and app cd is there too.
