I (re)encountered a few issues the last few days.

    1. complete system freeze/lockup after idling some time
I try to test the notebook's uptime atm (had that issue a few times already) (and it's a good opportunity to download some stuff)
When I woke up and checked the NB, it wasn't responding in any way. the only way to turn it off was holding the power button a few secs or unplugging the power the cord (strange though, it should just switch to battery)
Yesterday I didn't turn of the screen and found it unresponsive 1 1/2 hour later (system clock in the corner showed 16:08 although it was 17:48 already)
No fix worked so far (creative driver, p4g, etc)

    2. USB mouse stops working
Today I though the same error occured once again, but this time the system clock showed the correct time and keyboard still responded. I (re-)enabled the touchpad and noticed how only the usb mouse was affected. I remembered reading something about reboot fixing this so I tested what other things could work and tried to enter power save mode, only to find myself in the same situation as in 1. again. (After I started the pc, mouse worked again, but it was followed by issue 3.)

    3. keyboard commands not working (Fn Keys) (also no backlight)
After the crash my backlight stopped working. I tried to press Fn F4 to lighten it up again, finding out that the Fn Keys didn't work anymore (couldn't disable touchpad anymore). I quickly found the cause (my task manager is always running): HControl.exe not running. Reboot didn't fix the problem. Manual executing HControl.exe only till next shutdown. I still had the installer for ATK Package 1.08 around and used that to let it repair the ATK Package. Reboot and worked again. At least a partial fix.

I still try to find a way to prevent this 3 issues from happening, especially since one is the cause for another.
    Help would be appreciated

The JH is a very picky machine. You need to find the perfect drivers/settings across the board and never touch them.

IMO, just RMA it until it's perfectly fixed (just be prepared to be without a laptop for months).

Or of course you can figure a way to get it replaced.

Also reporting for having the first two issues. I'm considering RMAing but I want to be sure if that would help anything, since this supposed to be my workstation.

By your logic, my machine should be broken 10x over, as I update and test configs constantly.
