    [G73jh] Cracking and popping subwoofer.

    My subwoofer started cracking and popping a few weeks after i got my g73. Is it blown up? Can you turn the subwoofer off?

    Uninstall creative. It cause many issues.

    hehe. You can disable the sub by going into Window's Speakers setup and clicking on "Enable full range speakers"

    sub won't work? I would return it and get a new one. I don't think I could stand paying that much and not have the sub working.

    Check the realtek driver version. There are a few I've had issues with on another notebook. Sounds like the symptoms are similar. Since I installed v 2.49 I've had no issues at all. I would install this version if you haven't already. If you still have the same problem, RMA.
