hi guys, after owning the g53sw for about 3 months, its full of some uesless crap and uninstalling after done using sort of thing doesn't help improve the performance speed. Like the applications and software run well, but booting speed and loading speed are no no.

I've owned a dell laptop and there was a way to format computer to the factory state. If i remember correctly, the image was stored in the HDD so that ppl could easily access to it via advance boot options.

Is there a similar function for asus laptop? for example, after rebooting, select advance boot -> system recovery option -> recover to factory state etc?

or do i have to install a clean copy of windows and download all the drivers and whatnot?

    thanks for your help!

    1. Look into AI recovery progam (this should create DVD's for restore to factory)
    2. Also press F9 after power on - this will use the hidden partition where the Factory install resides.
