    I just recently got my g73jh about 10 days ago, and have done most of what these guides recommend. I have a clean install (love it) and installed all of what I need, but my next biggest question is how to get the best audio out of my laptop?

    I haven't tampered with any of that yet, all I have is the Realtek HD Audio Manager that was provided on a drivers disc d/l

    I am just looking for something stable, with a lot of features that will give the best audio.

    I did read about this
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/asu...ative-x-fi-mb-your-g73-realtek-hd-2-48-a.html

    but wasnt sure about this since i've read alot of problems in that thread about, sound crackling, and also my biggest thing is I need it to be stable

    THANKS :)

    "How to get the best audio out of my G73JH?"

    Wow, what a loaded question. With any audio system, the quality of the output will be determined by the weakest link in this chain:

    Source -> Player -> DAC -> Amplifier -> Speakers / Headphones

    As you can see, the audio chip is just one piece of the whole puzzle. I myself didn't bother with those modded 2.48 drivers. I'm using the 2.55 set (audio chipset + HDMI) without any issues.

    well I also mainly mean just out of the computer itself. Maybe I should of rephrased the question, whats the best drivers/audio software for the laptop as far as performance, and flexibility. I just want to take advantage of the sound card and stuff, because I didnt install the creative drivers as some posts said, so wondering what the best option is
