Got a new Asus G74SX-XC1 @ Newegg (I think it's a Canadian model, if that means anything). All seems OK, but I wanted to see what options I had in the Control Panel re. 'clocking', etc. But it seems that the Control Panel version I have (3.9.731.0, to be exact) doesn't have all the options/controls that I've seen in screenshots of other Control Panels...namely, it's missing a 'Performance' tab (and maybe another one).

On the lefthand side 'menu-column', all there is is '3D Settings' (3 buttons), 'Display' (5 buttons) and 'Video' (2 buttons). None of them seem to apply to adjusting the basic performance/speed of the processor.

Also in the Start menu, there's only one nVidia file/program, and it doesn't even open the Control Panel...it's just for turning 3D Graphics on/off.

1.5 y.o. Dell XPS desktop w/an i7 pocessor & GTX 260 card, and I was able to download a serious, full-bore control panel for it...but now, I can't seem to find any Control Panel downloads here at the nvidia site. I've also posted this question in their forum, but so far nobody's given me an answer

Any ideas on how I can get a full-featured Control Panel?

    Thanks!

Get the latest version of the drivers if you don't have them already, you need the nvidia system tools to get the performance tab.

Or use an application like NVIDIA Inspector to oc and set shortcuts.
