Just got the asus g73jh-b1 today and in the bottom right of the screen one of the pixels is stuck green... just wanted to know what I should do because I am really picky with stuff like that and not sure what to do. Would the company i bought it from take it back? or do I need to send it to asus, if I do send it to them do they just replace the screen, whole laptop with a new one or do I get a referb back.. Thanks

The company you bought it from may have their own "dead pixel" policy, but they may accept it as a return too.

the ZBD (zero-bright-dot) policy requires you to send it to asus for a screen replacement. They usually just switch the screen, but I believe they're "allowed" to switch it for a new one (but probably won't, as that is more expensive and they still have a dot on the screen).

Besides, you've got a -B1. They won't have refurbs yet, it just came out.

Less than a week...unless they need to order more screens due to stock being out. I live on west coast canada...had to ship it to ontario for my rma. Returned within that window.

That would be ideally. For me looks like shipping will take over two weeks, pushing my RMA well over a month. And this is after I was generously given help from Gary. Seems no matter what happens, something fubars along the way. Like shipping department unable to follow directions to ship to a new location. Or FedEx employee unable to comprehend package redirected to new location, instead interpret that as return to shipper.

I've had asus repairs (for my g73) take over a month ... and the second RMA only took 2 days. For the same issue. If you can drive it over to the markham facility, even better (for speed, no need to wait for delivery).

well I do live close (30-45min away) So that could be an option, I called bestdirect today to see if they would take it back but they are closed till tuesday :( . Another question if i look really close at the screen while on a black background I see tiny pixels that look stuck but you can only notice them really close to the screen, there about 5-20 of those spread out and not sure if they are stuck pixels or if that is normal.. My other 4 LCD screen I own have nothing like that so I think they might be stuck.
