I can understand the guy is busy, but it has been 10 days since he posted that he would give us an update "every day or so". If he had said that he would update us every 10 days that would have been fine but he didnt. Im just wondering if there is any update on the missing keystrokes aside from chastity's hit-or-miss solution with the intel drivers?
This really is the last annoying little glitch in my sytem and i will be glad to see a solution.

He's still around and he's still working on it. I got a message from him today. No solution that I know of, but he's still working on it.

He PMed me today also. He's still around just busy I'd assume.

I can honestly say, Asus does seem to go a little futher in supporting thier customer. When was the last time you saw a tech on the Gateway or Dell forums?

I still think he sounds like Cleveland :p Give him some time I suppose. I have a feeling a fix will take a while. Chastity's Intel drivers did work very well for me, but it's still not 100%. I'll miss a stroke here or there but it happens once in a couple of minutes, mostly on double letters. So it will probably be a software/driver fix, hopefully. Would suck if we had to swap out keyboards or RMA.

Expecting daily updates is silly. Let the man work on the problem instead of working on keeping the people who want daily updates happy.

he did promise daily updates but frankly after 10 days no updates is unacceptable...

There is probably nothing worth saying yet.
Trust him. He did deliver a fixed vbios after all.

Gary's time is much better used on finding a fix than posting updates here anyways. ;D

Thanks for the information, for thoses that had it.....i agree that his time is well spent on a fix and not updates except, he stated he would update us regularly.....my point being, dont say it if you dont have the time to do it. a simple 1 liner, once a week would be nice.
Now for the vbios fix...not to take anything away from gary, but following the posts, it seems to me the community came up with the fix more so than Gary....it was kind of handed to him from what i can tell.....true he finalized it into an actual bios, but the ideas and much of th testing seemed to come from all of you. i am not looking a gift horse in the mouth...i dont care where a fix comes from as long as we get one.....
