More RAM doesnt necessarily mean better (as you seem to associate with the WEI score)....now if you had faster RAM ;) (which btw is impossible in the JH/JW lol...well short of overclocking)

WEI is affected by speed, type, size, and timings.

All of these can be affected by the slowest stick of ram.

it is all exactly the same speeds but different brands.

2 of them are the one that came with the laptop 2x 2gb ddr3 pc 10600

    2 of them i bought CRUCIAL 2x 4gb ddr3 pc 10600

so i dont think i have a slow ram that is affecting the system...

also i can overclock the RAMs ? LOL i didnt know that XD

Yea like I said, you would need faster RAM to get it any higher, but 7.5 is still pretty good considering the max is 7.9

Well their is RAM specific overclocking, but we cant do it on our laptops, in fact I dont know of any that can, only desktops. However we can do it indirectly, the same way we OC our CPU's, by increasing the BCLK using setfsb.

    What? Still at 7.2.. A 460M OC'ed at only 815/1625 scores 7.3..

Here's mine, with the stock Sandy Bridge.

7.2 is about correct for the 720QM/740QM at stock and 7.3 is correct for Crappyalloy because he has the 840QM so his is faster.

Mine is 7.4 for the CPU and 7.6 for the RAM because I am running an overclocked 920XM.

Also the W7 experience score is not entirely accurate and not something that should be used to compare models although in this case the information seems to be correct. There is also nothing wrong with 7.2 from a W7 experience score stop worrying about what you have got and go and game!

haha far from it :) but you can clock it down exactly the same as with the 720QM but when it is running full pelt it requires 90watt with my clocks and considering that is more the battery can hold for an hour there is little point running an XM at full wack on a battery.

Yes it will work in your G53JW you can upgrade upto the 940XM, recommend the 920XM because of the price when unlocked there is no power difference.

LOL Expert: My 5870 7.3 WEI was only an overclock of 800/1100, not my 870/1150, but it was actually lower at one point just by updating drivers :p as Dallers pointed out, the WEI can be sorta wonkey, and isnt the best to compare relative performnce.
