Hi guys, please help me. :D

    1) I'm looking to buy a Siberia V2 Gaming Headset, but I'm unsure if I should get the one with USB sound card & USB or the one without the sound card & 1 audio in and mic in. Is G73JH-A2's sound card good enough for me not to get the former?

    2) Each time, I run Call of Duty BlackOps, I got a pop-up saying "COD detects a change in my computer since the last time I ran it, would you like to run COD in optimal settings... etc". But I haven't changed anything at all, it's extremely annoying. So what's the issue?

    Thanks!

Regarding your 2nd question, are you usually playing Call of Duty BlackOps while on High Performance and on Turbo mode? It's because it may be caused by your configuration when you last played CoD where you might have forgotten to set your environment (i.e. is on Turbo Mode or not, is on High Performance or Entertainment or Battery Saving) to your usual preference.

For example, you always play CoD on High Performance with Turbo on. Then you changed to Entertainment mode when you're done playing. Then you decided to play again without going on High Performance and Turbo On which is your previous configuration when you last played CoD. Then the notice that you have mentioned pops out.

I have experienced this too on CoD:MW2 each time I forget to play with my usual configuration (which is High Performance and Turbo on).

Thanks for the reply, but I wouldn't think so - I always have turbo off and in high perf mode.

And everytime I start BO for the first time my computer turns on, the main menu/server browser and all would be extremely laggy - could see my mouse jerk with every movement. And after joining the first server, the game would definitely crashed - just a black screen.

I would have to close it and reopen the game for it to work properly. What's the issue?

I think I has to do with most recent update. My game ran somewhat fine before the update. Since then, I will get random crashing on the server browser screen. One thing I have read that seems to help some other people, including myself out is to delete the config_mp.cfg file, and restart the game. This has helped me out.

Also I don't get any crackling in game at all. But some of my friends complain about having some crackling. I run high performance mode and I have the Asus easy overclocker turned on in bios. I'm also using the Realtek 2.54 HD drivers. Sound settings in game are "Loud", "Headphones", and "Realtek HD sound"
