    is there any way to connect to 2 monitors and still have use of the laptop screen without buying any extra hardware?

    Only the ATI card is capable of doing so but the G series does not have enough external ports to be able to run more than one external screen along with the laptop.

    Nvidia can only have dual display (laptop + external)

    Yep, even the 5870 on the JH isn't wired for eyefinity, shame though.

    I tried and it will not work with the hardware we have....

    I used 1 HDMI and 1 VGA and could not get 3 screen to show different pictures.

    Sorry, I wish it was differant.

    You will need a TOwer for this setup
