Ok here is a new one. I updated to the latest realtek driver and did all the new alchemy stuff and now I have 2, thats right folks, 2 speaker drivers!

When you go to adjust the sound, I actually have 2 sliders. One for the sub and 1 for the main speakers!

I think I borked something up. So, when you uninstall the realtiek software and creative software, does that get rid of the entire sound system if I wanted to start from scratch?

And once its all uninstalled, whats the best way to get all the best sound drivers installed and working?

    THanks!

    uninstall drivers
    reboot in safe mode
    run driversweeper
    reboot
install stuff following instructions from a thread such as "all the G73 solutions" or "creative issue"(some of those threads are stickies)

Figure this out? I've tried everything to remove the devices and detect 1 device.

You've got HDMI-out, spdif, and headphones. Subs, speakers ... there's going to be at least 2 - one for the standard audio stuff, and one for HDMI. Sometimes more. Especially if you install something like soundtaxi.

Yeah it has nothing to do with the HDMI. It actually detects the SUB as a WHOLE different device in windows
