I'd say so. 295.51 is running perfectly for me, and has increased performance in Skyrim. Give it a go.

im having problems with 295.51 during video playback for my g53sw. all videos will stutter and freezes after the 35 minute mark. reverting back to 290.53 results in normal video playback.

I have also tried 295.51. i didn't see any differences. i had a problem loading with NFS-THE RUN with the latest WHQ version, so i did try with 295.51 but nothing change. so i did try with 290.53. and it works flawlessly.

Strange, this has been the most stable release for me in a while. I guess this just goes to show that everyone's PC is different. :D

    Well, I have G53SW and you have G73SW, that's the different :)
    On 3Dmark11 I got 2311P with 290.53, and with 295.51 I got 2231P.

    Hardware-wise they're the same.
Did you do a clean install?

295.51 has a memory leak with encoded video beware. Usually after some time a movie played back on this driver will start to "lag".
From the discussion in guru3d forum I've concluded that sticking with 290.53 beta driver is most reasonable for now unless you crash a lot with the previous beta drivers and with 295.51 you don't.

If you do folding@home on G53SW or any desktop you don't want 295.51.
It will cause loss of work units like you have a unstable video card or hardware.
I had to go back to 290.53 on 3 of my rigs because all where loosing work units with 295.51 beta.
