temp 79 max but should be tested at least 1 hour,,,

main difference is in the control panel FXAA,,,

we will see the performance in the game ,,,

I didn't look closely on the FPS but this FXAA sure is something. I'm achieving almost the same screen quality as the 16QxCSAA with only 2x MSAA + FXAA on Final Fantasy XIV.

FANTASTIC! This new driver is a Divine Blessing!

I can not believe! removing the anti-aliasing of the game and using the FXAA, I can play with Overlock of up to 840Mhz on the GPU without shutdowns! And what it is rather the Visual Qualidiade is almost the same when using the anti-aliasing.

    I can not even believe!

In the game MAFIA2 for example, where anything above 780Mhz Instantaneo almost hung up, now I can play quietly with 840Mhz. With anti-aliasing disabled in the game. however FXAA Panel Using NVIDIA.
The game has the same quality as Visual I was with the Anti-aliasing enabled. is Incredible!

NVIDIA if you are reading this message, CONGRATULATIONS! This is the Way!
    THANK YOU!

I'm already at 4 hours Playing, So far and no shutdown!
I'm Overclocked to 830Mhz on the GPU.

more remember that you need to Disable Anti-aliasing in the game menu.

Enable FXAA you need in place of anti-aliasing. He plays the Anti-aliasing more efficiently. you can Ativalo the NVIDIA control panel.

That sounds extremely sweet, I have already downloaded the drivers but I will try them this weekend!! I hope this ones doesn't give me a blank screen at boot up...

I don't want to get my hopes up but I really want to have some recent drivers so I can enjoy the awesome performance on Skyrim with new drivers

I'd suggest turn it on for each game profile and leave the global FXAA off.

Just tried them this morning. First boot after installing them, I get a BSOD, (first one I've ever gotten) saying something about driver overriding a stack (can't remember). Second boot I get a reddish screen and that's it.

After that I did the 30 second thing with no psu or battery plugged in and after that the PC booted properly.

Got several "display driver has stopped and recovered" events, one after the other. I used system restore to get back to 266.58...

You are currently achieving stable overclock with it? as I reported.

Till the time I had no power off the games.
I'm at 840Mhz on the GPU.

With this clock, I'm an overall performance increase of 35%! this is like a GTX470m hahaha

Yes, perfectly clean install. As a matter of fact Ive been thinking that maybe my network card drivers are the issue, so I will start debugging this for a while till it either gets fixed or I conclude that it's another thing. I ran today every test from OCCT a couple of times and everything came out perfectly fine, using 266.58 WHQL.

I do get shutdowns while playing BF3 when OC'd to 840/1600, still happens with 301.24 so I'm gonna stick to my old clocks lol. 840/1600 gets no shutdowns on Final Fantasy XIV with only FXAA enabled tho.

This driver is super.. It reminds me of the 275 and 280's driver where 820 core / 1600 mem. is normal for almost everybody.

My only problem with 301.24 in BF3 is artifacts at 823 core / 1650 memory, unbelievably. Even at stock memory artifacts insists. For now BF3 for me is stable and clean at 810 core / 1650 mem. at 78*C max GPU temp. after playing a campaign and a half.

I was only able to play it stable at 742 core / 1336 mem. with the 293 and 295 drivers... :(

Try lowering the memory clock, memory chips on GTX460M doesn't have a sensor, could be it got too hot or you card just simply had an over current.

you may try to use nvidia default sett in the control panel, I m not sure for this FXAA yet, because for each game it should be selected and game also should be adjusted for no AA,,, you can get some conflict bettween the settings

301 driver is very stable for me and as any driver, ..really. The FXAA can be used as separate, ..or global which will toll the whole system. I don't use it. With BF3 I use low post AA rather than NVidia's FXAA, just my preference but more FPS taxing..

For me, I always like to set to, Let 3D Application decide on the NVidia control panel and default the 3D settings..

I'm still OC at 810/1650 with the 301.24 driver which I use for all 4 games at the moment, namely BF3 campaign and multiplayer, The Witcher 2, Crysis 2 and Rage.

Actually, the 301.24's FXAA works for my BF3, I just prefer the post AA even at low..

I might be wrong with the FXAA, but I thought there were difference between the 2 pics. I forgot I turned off post AA and it became sharper but jaggier at grasses and foliage etc.. BF3 custom on cpnrt panel doesn't support it.

The Nvidia 301.24 beta driver still only managed to max my GPU temp. by 76-78*C playing Noshahar Canals in a 20 player limit. The frames are alright from mid 40s' to mid 50s' average on gun fights, OCed at 810/1650. I'm running stock GPU voltage.

Strolling on Caspian averages high 30s' to 70s'. My BF3 settings are 1080p res.,ultra texture, the rest medium. With Post AA on Low. I will try to ultra the mesh and terrain next and see..

Usually a G73JW/SW's GPU idle temp shouldn't exceed 50C... you might find the result surprising after cleaning both vents with a compressed air can or a vacuum cleaner.

I just wanted to share that since this driver came, I've purchased Deus Ex:HR. The game has very nice graphics and geometry. I've played around with the settings to completely smoothen the game. I've gotten a stable OC on all my games now at 800/1620 with max GPU temps from 76-82*C.

    ..compelling story..
