I'm really torn between the G53SW and the SX models. From what I have read the SW is faster, and I guess with just adding 4gb more of ram is pretty equivalent to the SX model, besides the naked eye 3D. Is it really worth waiting for? I know games are going that route now and I was pretty stoked for the idea of no glasses 3D screen on it. Plus for the same price as the SW from NCIX. I also read the new GTX560 is slower, but according to nvidia's site specs, its capable of 192bit, so whats the difference between that and people saying its only 128bit?

Glasses free 3D, no. 192-bit to 128-bit, about 20% supposedly.

It seems alot of people have issues with these Asus series laptops just by looking in this forum. Are these user or device related?

Mix of both, but the answers to about 99% of the problems are here. Of course, this doesn't factor in issues that may be present as a defect in your machine only (which just plain happens sometimes).

Actually GTX 560M is 192 bit but when you compare with GTX 460M you will see that almost there is only one thing and it is core clock 560M "750" and 460M "675".
Overclocked 460M can beat most of the card like 560M and Radeon HD5870.
Neverheless naked eye 3D can be the good but pls before jumping it, try Nintendo 3DS which is almost first try for subject thing and actually it doesnt seen great and you should follow something on the screen to get 3D effect by yourself. -
