I have been looking for some comparisons for my score and there are not very many people who have their scores up so I figured I would start a thread and get a few compiled!!!

Currently I am running a G60VX, custom back panel cooling, with my lil p7450 pushing 2670mhz. My 260m is overclocked as well, running, 600/975/1600, and my 3DMark06 score is currently 11,410.

I could probably tweak it a little more, but that is just what I have started with.

Anyways, I would like to know what other people are running around here!!

    Thanks, Robert

For G73. But their score was actually low, most people are getting around 13,000.

As everyone said, if you want to benchmark, benchmark with Vantage.
    - It's already been proven that 3DMark06 is about CPU. If you want 3DMark06 score, buy an i7 920 Extreme and overclock that to the max.

PC Mark Vantage? What are average numbers for those? Im not having any problem with heat, however I am going to have to modify my voltages before I do much more. Thanks, Robert

It's 3DMark Vantage. And the average score is about 8,800 for stock 700/1000. Overclocked it's around 9,100. Highest score I've seen is 10,000 which is also the highest score I've seen for a single GPU laptop also.

I wouldn't mess with voltages just for benchmarking. If that's your thing go for it, I don't see much point in it. I only benchmark just to see how the system is, I don't play the benchmark game for bragging rights etc.

I agree with most of that. I am not sure I want to mess with the voltage yet, but I do play a lot of games and I am so close to playing Mafia II Maxed out that it isn't even funny.

I am confused a little bit. According to notebook check.net, these are the actual scores with Vantage......

    3DMark Vantage

Model CPU Memory Core / Memory Value

    G60VX T9400 4096 MB 500 / 799MHz 4080

    G72GX Q9000 6144 MB 500 / 800MHz 4762

    G60J 720QM 4096 MB 500 / 799MHz 4900

Am I missing something or are the just old figures and new models have came out since then?

Mildly overclocked on my G60VX I am pulling a score of 7049.

    Thanks, Robert
