I have updated my vBios with OD2 (That chastatity provided)
And i am on stock drivers on my G73JH BST-7: 8.683.0.0
Doing overclock with ATI OVERDRIVE.
If i do some overclock to 800/1050 - i am getting artifacts (on the final test in 3Dmark11 (Combined test)) then laptop freezes, only force reboot helps.
If i'm not doing Overclocking at all i am getting just 2100 points.
So, i can't overclock at all? I just repasted it with IC7 idle temp 53Celsius not overclocked.

The average highest overclock on the Asus version of the 5870M is 800/1000 so it is most likely that you are running it too high. Try 800/1050 as the artifacting will be caused by the memory clock.

No as I just said most couldn't I kept mine at 1000 for anything but benchmarking.

You may try 775/1075 as it works for me on SC2 =)

You've mentioned that you're on stock drivers? I suggest you update to CCC 12.1 if you're still on stock drivers. Use installer to uninstall, DriverSweeper, CCleaner, reboot to safe mode, DriverSweeper then CCleaner again, reboot to normal mode then install the latest gpu drivers. I also recommend you use the "ATI GPU Clock Tool v.0.9.26.0 for HD5870".

Every chip is different and gets different overclocks it has nothing to do with the software you are running although drivers may make a difference.
Heat is the biggest cause of problems but the Asus version of the 5870M never overclocked as well as the stock version did. I could get 800/1100 on mine but it was never very stable and the difference was minimal. -
do you think drivers could resolve that problem? Do asus have updated drivers or i should download it from amd.com?

It is best to use the latest to be honest 12.1 from the AMD website is the latest.

And what about CCC it comes with the drivers? -

According to this statement:
"2. This vBIOS works with driver sets 10.1~10.8 and should work with future releases unless the driver base code is changed again."
the 93vBIOSa or the OD2 version are expected to work on the mentioned driver sets up to the latest release. So if your "Catalyst Version" is not 10.1~12.1, you better update to an updated one like the Catalyst 12.1.
To update your GPU Drivers, instead of downloading the Catalyst Software Suite 12.1 (1.1MB) on this link, you should better download the driver itself on this link (147MB) as the 1.1MB file would only download the driver which would take quite a while if you would not use a download manager (e.g. downthemall of Firefox, etc).
To install, use the downloaded installer to uninstall your previous GPU driver. Then use Driver Sweeper (v3.2.0 on this link) to remove all of the AMD Display drivers that might cause problems when you update to a new driver (analyze and clean AMD - Display).
Clean up the registry by CCleaner then reboot to safemode. On safemode, run Driver Sweeper again (analyze and clean AMD - Display) then clean registry again via CCleaner. Reboot to normal mode then install to the latest driver that you have downloaded. -
