    Hi guys!
I already had a 5850 but I had problems so I received another from the seller
    So
I will upgrade to 7970 but I waiting for it
    In the mean time
I will use my note with this dell card
So I wanna know where is the thermal place that I need to cool down!
    Thanks

I found this pic from the m15x so that I can see
It use only thermal pads on the VRAM so I think that I can use the card with my moded heat sink for my 7970 without coopers

You can clearly see the thermal paste on the GPU die and center of the heatsink in your pic and yes, the modded heatsink will also fit on the 5850, it's also standard MXM. Thermal pads should be enough for the VRAM with the JH heatsink too.
