According to GPU-Z my GPU is only at 250mhz. I found this out when playing Skyrim in area where im usually getting 50fps i was getting low 20's.

THis never happened before but now happens often. I dont want to blame new drivers but this only started after installing 11.11a. I always have to restart laptop to fix it.

I never change settings or anything same power plan (high performance) and even if I change, its stuck at 250mhz only.

I starting to think that maybe hibernate is causing it and maybe i should just shut down laptop from now on.

What could be causing this and how do i fix it?

edit: fixed by disable PowerPlay in CCC.

Never messed with PowerPlay in older driver versions not sure why it did that now, but all is well.

    Please delete thread if possible.

Don't have to actually disable PowerPlay.

Sometimes when you update drivers, it tends to change the power plans (for Plugged In) from Maximum Performance to Maximum Battery Savings.

All you have to do is switch it back.
