Uhm install a game like just cause 2 play that on high and tell me how hot your processor gets (get GPU-Z and let it run in the background play on high) My furmark also showed a max of 75C with everything on high and super hot mode on w/e .. With just cause on high i hit 95C .. and i know i have to repaste in the coming weeks.

And I bet if you use everest the temperature will be different from those two as well. Thats the same thing I ran into with my HP Mini 311 when I OC'd it. I just use HW monitor and go by that.

EDIT: I'm not the OP but I did just install Just Cause 2. Everything maxed out I got a high of 73C. Inside my house is 71F. That was playing for about an hour. I did receive my laptop back after a new GPU. Guess the Technician knew his stuff when it came to repasting.

they are 3 sensors on different parts of the GPU
GPU-Z monitors all 3 of them.

Good for those settings I suppose.

Now turn on "XTreme Burning Mode" and "Post FX" options, and change the resolution to 1920x1080....what do you get then?

hehe well your temps are fine in my opinion, but still... 3 minutes? Your temp was still rising based on what I see on the temp graph.

At least 10 minutes at max resolution with XTreme burning mode and post FX turned on is the standard settings we use here for comparison I believe.

    Haha nice OP.

My G73-HST7 maxes at 86c on hours of Crysis and also 86c on Furmark too.

My old one would shoot up too 100c in furmark within minutes and games like crysis ran at 97c.

Love my temps so far but the dude with 70ish temps is lucky.

The fans started ramping up at 76-77C, then it just kept going from 77 - 79C for an entire minute. So I decided it was adequate.

I max out at about 74-75 after an hour or two of gaming.
