    I sure miss my G73JH :(

My laptop arrived at the Indiana facility yesterday but they still haven't changed the status of "not received" on the Asus Inquiry thing. My problem is a faulty left fan that squeaks and a slight issue on my screen. How long can I expect to wait before getting back my laptop?

Also, what power mode should one use for gaming? Pure intuition tells me that "high performance" is the way to go. However, "balanced" brought better performance in multiple tests.

On the Asus website, it won't change its status. What's the status of your laptop?

Mine is in repair. I guess they started working yesterday. That's a 02 business day wait after they received, but I'm sure they have other stuff so no biggie.

I do not remember how they kept me updated on the work, Hmm I will have to look and see.

As to the time , well mine was worked on at the same place yours is at. And it took the less than a day when they started work on it. This comes down to the repair shop having the parts on hand to how fast it is done. But I got my system back in one day after they shipped it back to me. I was lucky as they had the parts that where needed to repair mine on hand so they fixed mine over night and it came back the next day. Also they seemed to have done a very good job fixing mine, I had shut downs every 20 minutes from over heating and other issues and the Video fan was not working hardly at all . They ran full run in benchmarks on my system for 14 hours straight to make sure my system was stable and fixed, I could see what they did as the data sheet and Benchmark software was still on my machine when I got it back. It even had the parts and part numbers listed that they used to repair mine.

I am at Fort Knox so it did not take long for Fedex to get it returned to me.
