Hi!!
I have an Asus G71GX. It came with Windows Vista preinstalled. It also gaveme the upgrade dvd (can intall too) for windows 7.
The recovery partition with vista is no longer usefull. I want to make/update the recovery partition with windows 7, to make it usefull, how can be done?
Thanks!!

I am not sure how to do this, but another approach would be to create an image file on an external Hard drive once you have Win 7 installed. Paragon has a free program to accomplish this: Free Backup Software: Paragon Backup & Recovery Free Advanced Edition - Overview

That's a good idea... but still it's not compatible with the recovery function in the bios...
I think that will erase the partition and just do std install form dvd...
A functional recovery partition...
