    ACCEVentLog errors

    Hello.
    I play only one game on my G73jh. Crysis and recently it beggined to crash very often. It would only close to desktop without any message. And after some search I found in event manager in ACEEventLog some 18 Startup errors all ati related. And every time when game crashes it shows new ati related errors in ACEEventLog. After google search it seems that fault is on amd/ati side.

    Anyone with G73jh can you please check in your view manager in ACEEvenLog if you get those ati errors on startup.

    That wont help against errors to occur :(. It will just not show them in event viewer. My game will still crash becouse of them if you understand.?

    I am using latest ccc and video driver 11.08 and have downloaded beta 11.09 version today but after clean installing it it shows same 18 ati related errors in ACEEventLog like preview one. OS is installed on ssd so there is no problem in hdd been overused and there is only one new error from ati that shows when game crashes so there are no chances that it is somehow that way related.

    And again please other users with 5870 mobility check in your Event viewer/ACEEventLog if you have same startup errors from ATI.

    All those lovely messages are being generated by MOM.exe (in Processes)

    I saw my log just now, and how amazingly useless it was. I have a fine collection of Event 0's... :mad:

    also ATIRecord was set back to 1 on my system, so I disabled it again.

    I do not have the 00000..17 error you listed but I do have many similar errors listed (as information). But none of my games are crashing. I am on 11.8 and Chastity's legenday VBIOS. I have run Crysis demo a few times without issues.

    Only thing i have found so far is if I dissable CCC on startup it does not comes with new errors. But momment you manually start CCC it throw those errors no matter if you have deactivated ATIRecord in register. Will try and test gaming without CCC running and see what happens...

    As I stated before, it's MOM.exe that is registering those errors, which CCC starts up when it does.

    Thats all right Chastity. But Do anyone has remedy for this. Becouse simply disabling MOM.exe does not fix problem it just dont register errors but my laptop still crashes same way.?

    I think what she is saying is that MOM.exe is reporting fake errors. The game crashing is unrelated to that error message.

    Thanks DCx, if that is what she mean then it changes everything. Man then I am again at beginning. Do you get same startup errors in ACEEventLog thrown from ATi DCx?

    I'm having the same problem here and almost got scammed by some fake Microsoft rep on this lol.. Thanks for the fix Chasity. What would we do without her? :)
