    Hi,

I've had this issue with the G73JH since I bought it. It's running the factory configuration but I removed some crapware from it.

The issue is that when I alt+tab the little Aero Glass preview comes up but it does not stay on top.

I figured out that stopping the ACMON.exe process fixes the problem but then I cannot use Splendid.

Not that I care too much but it is an annoyance I'd like to get rid of. Has anyone here stumbled upon it before and if so do you know if there is a fix that allows to still use Splendid? The app has not been updated since 2009.

    Thanks all

Does it pop up for a second then vanish and bring the selected running application to the top? If so, that's the default behavior...

I can assure you that is not the default behaviour. The little aero glass previews should remain on top of everything as long as Alt remains pressed and what you are describing is exactly the behaviour it has when ACMON.exe is running/

Try going into the task manager and stop ACMON.exe then use the Alt+TAB feature, you'll see how it is meant to work. You can also try on another computer that does not have Splendid though there are other programs known to break Alt+Tab in that way.

Why do you even wanna use Splendid anyway? It's crap.

    It's not utter crap.

But I'd trade it for anything that lets me remap the button.

This lets you remap all your Function keys. You need to hex edit HControl.exe though for it to work properly.

Details the steps of HEX editing it. Let me know if you're having trouble doing this and I can upload my HControl.exe for you (v 1.0008)
