So I was planning on doing a restore earlier, so I thought why not today. I get the CDs out and I begin the process. Everything was going fine until I got to cd 2. At the end of cd 2 I got error 3. So I thought ok I'll try again. And I get error 3 again. I really have no idea on what to do since this is my only gaming laptop.
    Please help me.

Maybe cd 2 wasn't properly burned by the AI Recovery software? Or your cd 2 is busted in terms of dye quality?

I have done restore with these CDs before. And I never got an error. But if that is the case is there somewhere I can get the files to burn on CDs?

If you have a backup copy of the recovery dvds via iso file, you could burn it easily using another computer with a dvd burner. Is your hard drive still the same when you have burned those recovery dvds?

I only have the 4 CDs. I don't have anything else. After I get error 3 it tells me to select where to boot from and press a key

Edit. Ok so I got error 3 again. So I shut off the computer and used f9 and it took me to some recovery system. And I'm restoring the harddrive. Hopefully this works.

    Edit2: worked.
