Good day, everyone! I have issue with a AMD GPU CLOCK TOOL - after setting up some overclocking to my GPU on ASUS G73JH after windows restart - my overclocking resets back to default, the question is - how to save that changes on every windows restart?
PS Used AMDGPUClockTool_v0.9.26.0 (specially for HD 5870)

Good question I have the same version, I have set up a shortcut
the target is "C:\Program Files (x86)\AMD GPU Clock Tool\AMDGPUClockTool.exe" -eng=800 -mem=1130
You set whatever values you want, and put the shortcut in your startup folder -
Did so, but its annoying screen flashing when u're setting overclock on GPU with this tool.
I've set 800/1100MHZ but in WEI it shows 7.2 for graphics and gaming graphics. Whats your WEI Score? -
I use MSI Afterburner. I've never had a problem
-
Which version you have used? Works well? no need to launch this programm after very windows restart?
PS just noticed in your sign about 1600mhz RAM - would G73JH benefit something from that upgrade? Does it support that at all?
In 3DMark11 i'm getting just 2100 score ? :O
i have 920xm processor overclocked to 28/27/23/21
and GPU at stock... If i overlock GPU to 800/1100mhz im getting artefacts in a combined tests.. is its overheating? -
WEI is also 7.2 , the flashing I just got used to it (seems only a fraction of a second)
Another option to OC the GPU is in CCC - performance- AMD overdrive - unlock and move sliders - (this will only work if you have updated the VBIOS to od2 (Kudos to Chastity).
What version of CCC are you using?
Not sure about ram but this may help
