Ello all! :) Has anyone had any gaming issues with the ASUS G Series G73JW-XN1? Are there issues with updating the drivers, bios in regards for DX 10 or DX 11 games?

Asus is, in some cases, naming the second number/letters on the retailers, for example the ASUS G73JW-XA1, comes with A for Amazon, the ASUS G73JW-XR1 seems an NCIX exlusive also, not sure why R, maybe because the N was for newegg, with the G73JW-XN1.

The only difference from the XA1 that i see is the hdd been lowered from 750gb to 500gb, so im guessing since its an X also only 1 year warranty, no bag nor mouse, and probably 1066 memory (although most are coming 1333 regardless).

Thanks for the insight on the model numbers Abula!

I did a little more searching and found a couple more models some with different features and varying prices with Buy.com being the cheapest $1350 and TigerDirect looking like the one I want at $1500.

It looks like they can change the memory amount and possibly speed, hard drive size and even the Multimedia drive.
