So, when i disconnect the AC from the unit. My fps drops and hangs around 30 fps. I want it to be at 60 again when i unplug it (vsync on).
I've downloaded CPU Z and i payed attention to what changes when i unplug it.
The GPU drastically drops when its unplugged.

I've changed the power options around and non of them seem to effect the CPU or the GPU at all, only battery saving mode underclocks the CPU and thats it, GPU stays the same unless i unplug it.

Click on the battery icon, go to More power options. Go to High Performance and Change Plan Settings, then Advanced power settings.
Be sure that the minimum CPU state is 100% as well as the maximum, and that the graphics setting has Maximize Performance on both On Battery and Plugged In.

I've been looking all over the net for information on this issue and have only found this thread. I am having the same problem. And I also do not have gpu settings to change under power options as you have said. Have you learned anything new on this, I would really not like to be dependent on the power cable every time I play.

This is the regular behavior of nvidia powermizer. Long story short - don't expect to game with the same settings as AC power, if at all on battery.
