This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Hi Folks,

    I own my G51J since January 2010. For a few weeks some keys ("1", "p" und "BACKSPACE") on the keyboard doesn´t work properly. Sometimes they don´t recognize that I´m pressing them, sometimes, like now, their working very good. I already re-installed the ASUS-Keyboard-filter.

    Due to the keys sometimes work properly I think it is a software-failure.

    Anyone an idea?

    Do they have this problem in linux? Try a live CD for a few hours to check.
