Hi, I'm looking at an ASUS G51JX-X1 for around $1,200 and the G73JH-RBBX0 for around $1,300. So far, I can see a few differences between the two:
ASUS G51JX-X1:
Pros: 1920 x 1080 Resolution, 2.0MP Webcam, 2 Year Warranty for Parts and Labor.
Cons: 6-cell battery, 15.6" Screen, NVIDIA GeForce GTS 360M, no USB 3.0, 4GB RAM (1066MHz?).
ASUS G73JH-RBBX0 (Best Buy Model):
Pros: 17.3" Screen (probably not that portable), 8-cell battery, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870, 6GB RAM (1333MHz?), two exhaust fans for the CPU and the GPU, two harddrive bays, "Less Flashy."
Cons: 1600 x 900 Resolution?, large AC adapter for 5870, no ExpressCard, Firewire, and ESATA port, no USB 3.0, 1.3MP Webcam (2.0MP in the standard G73JH-X1) no Bluetooth, 1 Year Warranty for Parts and Labor.
I think the G73JH is more powerful, am I right? Should I get the G73JH? Are there any major problems with the two and can anyone tell me the difference between the "RBBX0", the "A1/A2", and so on versions of the G73JH? In the meantime, I'll be reading up on threads about problems with the G73JH.
I've also heard good things about the N61JQ-X1.
ASUS G51JX-X1 or G73JH?
