Hello,
I have few simple question : D

You should be able to install the Verde package. Make sure you are using that one. If you want, you can hit my Drivers page and use the ones from there. See sig link below.
-
I Already tried drivers from your page(great job btw) : ( still nothing ...
driver start to install only when i swap nvim file from orginal asus drivers to nvidia package...

I had/have the same issue with my G53. For whatever reason, the Device ID for the GPU in the G53 is not listed in nVidia's standard drivers, the last few new drivers anyway. I can't speak to the older drivers from nVidia's site because I never tried them. So at this point what you are seeing is normal until nVidia adds the G53's GPU Device ID to their inf.
You can go to NVIDIA & Laptop News | Latest NVIDIA drivers and related news | laptopvideo2go.com and grab the drivers from there. You will need to replace the inf file with the one that is attached to the respective driver thread. -
is it safe ? there are temperature profiles?
or something of what could affect the work laptop ? or just this is device list -
The INF file listed there just expands the hardware device list for the driver installer.

Cool, drivers from laptopvideo2go.com works : )
but still...why i cant install drivers from nvidia site like everyone... : ( sniff
and I wanted to thank everyone for their help...is the first forum where someone tried to help me, thanks guys ^_^ -
what specific model of g53sw do you have? the 460m is the one with 1.5gb vram or the crippled 1.0gb vram?
-
Model with 1.5 Gb ram : )
Full spec:
-Intel Core i7-2630QM

"Asus G53SW"
bump ^ _ ^ -
Sounds to me like you're either downloading the wrong driver package, or using a modified copy of windows (so the driver package doesn't recognize your OS properly).
It's certainly not a hardware problem. -
i have BOX version of windows 7 home premium x64 .
Please link me "good" driver package : )
when i enter : http://www.nvidia.com/object/notebook_drivers.html
it shows: "The manufacturer of this system requires that you download the driver for your GPU from their support site.
The GeForce M series and GeForce Go series notebook GPUs use drivers that have been customized by the notebook manufacturers to support hot key functions, power management functions, lid close and suspend/resume behavior. NVIDIA has worked with some notebook manufacturers to provide notebook-specific driver updates, however, most notebook driver updates must come from the notebook manufacturer. Additionally, the desktop GeForce graphics drivers will not install on Geforce M series and Quadro M series notebook GPU's."

Our ASUS GTX460M uses the NVIDIA Verde Notebook drivers that NVIDIA releases.
-
I have to give this case to the X-Files ; }
-
My JW uses the NVidia driver as well. Could be that you're using a localized version of windows?
Have you tried the following one?
NVIDIA DRIVERS 270.61 WHQL
if not, you can search if there is a specific language that matches your windows language... -
Meybe a should upgrade bios or something ^_ ^
btw: still nothing ; ]
"This graphic driver could not find compatible graphic hardware"
probably G53SW isn't added to device list, that's all : )
I can install drivers from nvidia only if I copy nvim file from asus drivers to nvidia installer : )
or just download it from laptopvideo2go, also works : ) -
Sorry if I revive this thread but I have the same problem as the OP.
Bought a G53SW yesterday and did a clean install but the only drivers that work for the video card is the two provided at the ASUS support site. The newest being from march this year.
The full model name is ASUS G53SW-SZ190V and it has the NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 460M 1,5GB GDDR5 VRAM
Is there an easy way to update the file in the NVIDIA driver to make it recognize my card? -
I added a modded 275.50 Verde package on my Driver Page
-
I have the same issue with a G53SW-A1. I just swapped .inf files.
-
I also have a G53SW-A1 and I'm having this issue too. :\
