    ASUS G55VW - upgraded to win 8 problem

    My DVD recorder can no longer play blue ray DVD's. My assumption is its a driver issue but I cannot what driver I need, any help would be appreciated.

    I'm going to assume you performed an "Upgrade" installation instead of a clean install and didn't read the warnings in the driver area for some of the files.

    My suggestion is, do yourself a favor and make another clean install. You never know what trash gets left over. Then install all those drivers.

    there are not dirvers to be installed for the DVD Rom Drive

    do a clean install
