Decided not to buy a 3 grand alienware laptop instead buy an average laptop and build a rigg. Anyhow... I found the ASUS G60 for real cheap, it has the gtx 260m which is fairly good but I wasnt too sure about the CPU (P7350). Will this CPU be fine with the latest games like bc2?![]()

Since most games are still GPU-bound, the P7350 is plenty adequete. And since it's a low TDP, you have some room to overclock it.
Bad ports-- GTA4, I'm looking at you--tend to stress a CPU more, so watch out for those. Oh, and some RTS. -
I oc'd my p7350 to 2.5 ghz and I can't tell the difference between the T9800 I just pulled out of it. Yeah, I spent 3 grand on my first laptop about 10 years ago. I bet it's worth at least 100 today. I would never do it again.
If by real cheap you mean $650 or less then I say go for it. I got my G51VX for $550 and I've played a few of the high graphic games so far (crysis, gtaIV, Just Cause 2) and am really enjoying it. -
You are going to struggle to run games that recommend quad cores, like BC2. I mainly play that game now on my G51 with a 260m and T9900 OC to 3.4ghz. That P7350 is only 2ghz.. Even with a heavy OC you are still going to struggle to run BC2 at decent frames.
I average on full server rush and conquest maps 45-60fps with my T9900 OC and my 260m OC.
I use medium details and effects, low shadows, and medium textures. NO AA, but 8x AF. HBAO, Vsync, and Bloom Off. At native 1366*768.
Sometimes my FPS will drop down to around 30FPS, just depends on what I'm looking at, or if I get these weird mico-stutters for a brief second, then the FPS are back up. BC2 is poorly coded for PC period. On the same note, I will at certain areas on the map get anywhere from 70-100+ FPS.
For all others games yous should be fine, I had the P7350 before I swapped it out for my T9900 and it ran all other games great, and Asus has built in OC feature which will crank up the CPU at the touch of a button. -

Depends if it's the BestBuy model.
The BB model does not support Quads for some reason, it has been tried but failed miserably.
A T9900 works great in one though -
