I just purchased this laptop from newegg about a week ago. Specs are:
    Intel Core 2 Duo p7450 2.13ghz
    4GB DDR2
    Geforce Gtx 260m (1gb Vram)

I am using the 168 nvidia drivers (heard they were the best for gaming), but I dont feel like im getting very good performance. Bad company 2 is sometimes barely playable on low unless I force DX9. Any ideas?

168 drivers imo are way to old to be optimized for newer games. Just try out some newer drivers, i currently running 198.05 on my GTX260 and found them quite good on image quality and performance, also they downcloak on their own also, link is in my sig.

The general rule is to install the latest drivers unless you run into issues. The newest ones are the 258.XX. The 260m should definitely be able to play BC2. If not, overclock the CPU for a bit more performance.

I just ran 3dmark06 and got a score of 9,096.
    SM2: 4282
    SM3: 4380
    CPU: 1909

My specs are listed above. Does this seem right or does my CPU seem a little off?
