I recently cleaned my fans of dust, and reapplied thermal paste to the CPU. My CPU cores idle at ~40c and my GPU idles at 60c when I see some people have it idle at as low as 50c. Is 60c a normal idle temperature? Another question, when I opened my GPU what seems to be a heat sink, thermal pads were applied at various places scattered on the chip. But one of the pads came off wrong, and I disposed of it and applied thermal paste to that one specific location, the others still have pads on them. Should I just remove all the pads and apply paste to each one of them? Arctic SIlver 5 was properly applied to the CPU and that one GPU spot. Help is appreciated.
