This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Just download the 1701 bios, and flash it using the easyflash method described here- http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=174395

    The 1701 bios is pretty much the same as the others except it fixes the issue where the touchpad LEDs would turn on when awoken up from sleep mode/hibernation even though the touchpad would be off. Not that big of a deal, but you might as well get the most up-to-date bios.

    Is F3 the command for viewing which BIOS the system is currently running?

    F2 gets you into the BIOS where you can see the version.
