    Hey Guys

I know it's difficult to diagnose over the internet.
    Here is my issue:
My laptop has a power issue, AC adapter no longer charges the battery
or powers the laptop? (It makes a chirping sound) :)
The laptop still works fine with my spare battery which had a
    full charge.
Is this as simple as maybe getting a new AC adapter or changing the
power jack, or could it be worse?

    Thanks

Googles, It sure sounds like an AC adapter issue, Do you have a multi-meter that you can test it with?

I assume you have already tried plugging into a different outlet.

I will give that a try.
If it's AC adapter that's fine, only about $40 on ebay.

    Thanks
